Bespoke lead capping installed to protect an exposed masonry gable on a tiled roof in York. The leadwork has been formed in sections to accommodate thermal movement, with welted joints and carefully dressed edges creating a durable weathering detail. The adjoining clay tiles and lead valley detailing have been integrated with the capping to provide continuous protection at this vulnerable roof junction.
